About Me…
Hi, I’m Gunreet Kaur.
I’m a mental health clinician and holistic health coach. I'm here to support you in healing from the inside out through emotional awareness, body wisdom, and deeper self-connection through a trauma-informed lens.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a focus on Counselling and Psychosocial Rehabilitation, along with certification as a Health Coach. I’m currently pursuing my Master’s in Counselling to deepen my knowledge and expand my scope of practice. This space was created with care and intention to offer what I found missing within the healthcare system: a place where you feel seen, supported, and safe to be your full self without judgment.
I was raised in Surrey in the Lower Mainland, British Columbia, and later relocated to the rural areas of British Columbia. This has given me a distinct perspective towards life professionally and personally. Additionally, my Punjabi heritage has given me a deep appreciation for cultural diversity, learning to navigate the bridge between Western and Eastern values.
Over the past six years, I have had a diverse range of experience from the complexities of mental health, supporting individuals with autism, ADHD, schizophrenia, depression, to the everyday struggles that come with being a human. My work involved serving youth, adults, and seniors across various health authorities. Each role taught me the importance of gratitude, patience, and resilience, paired with the value of approaching care with compassion, curiosity, and a holistic perspective.
Due to my lived and work experience, I believe each person's journey is influenced by their unique lived experiences, cultural background, family, community, spirituality, and values. Therefore, genuine healing occurs when these aspects are recognized and honored to connect with oneself.
A unique approach to support mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual health is combining elements of ancient knowledge and modern science. Navigating my health journey has given me an in-depth understanding of how health is not one-dimensional but an interconnected ecosystem within and outside us. I want to create a safe space where one can look at an entire lived human experience versus one element or symptom.
This platform is my way of offering support, safety, providing education, asking thought-provoking questions, and creating a space where people feel seen, heard, and empowered to take control of their health and healing.
